Jon Reddick stands on the shoulders of giants for his new single, “Don’t Fight Alone.” Leaning on generational faith, Reddick affirms the power rooted in a community of believers who pray for one another and the comfort felt when we remember God’s trustworthiness throughout history.

He proclaims these words in the bridge:

"The God of our fathers was faithful to you
Over and over they trusted in Him
We stand on their shoulders
And carry the flame
He’s been faithful before
He’ll be faithful again"

Trusting in a God who keeps his promises, Reddick prescribes to the passage of Scripture found in Hebrews 12:1: “Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us.”

As the “God, Turn It Around” singer attests, the marathon of faith is easier to endure when we know we have people cheering us on — both the people we hold dear here on Earth and those who have gone before us, who now call Heaven home. The battle might be hard, but we’ve got an army surrounding us every time we take the field.

The singer/songwriter debuted “Don’t Fight Alone” for Christian radio listeners at Air1’s inaugural “Worship Now Live at Red Rocks” concert event last fall. The impactful anthem is sure to be a part of his setlist this November when Reddick takes the stage as part of the lineup for Air1’s “Worship Now Tour,” slated to also feature Crowder, We The Kingdom, CAIN, Passion  and special guest speaker Louie Giglio. The upcoming multi-artist outing follows Reddick’s stints on the road with TobyMac and Matt Maher, respectively.

When he’s home, Reddick continues to lead worship at Church of the City in Franklin, Tenn.
