The song exalts a loving Father who sustains us through life’s most turbulent moments. His past faithfulness only points to a future filled with His continued devotion. Written by Steven Furtick, Jonathan Smith, Pat Barrett and Leeland Mooring, “Always on Time” affirms that while God’s timing might not align with our own expectations, His timing is always perfect. Reflecting on His tender care and the way He guides us with His love, Cordero offers up a sweet vocal with gentle, comforting lyrics to match. She sings:

"I remember how You carried me
When I couldn’t take a step
I remember how You loved me
When I couldn’t love myself
There’s never been a day
Never been a minute
Never been a moment
That You weren’t in it
There’s never been a time
That You didn’t see me through, God
So I worship You"

The verses bring to mind countless Scripture passages about God’s abiding companionship, like the one found in Deuteronomy 31:8 that says, “Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord will personally go ahead of you. He will be with you; he will neither fail you nor abandon you.”

“Always on Time” appears on Elevation Worship’s GRAMMY®-nominated album, “When Wind Meets Fire.” This fall, the award-winning group will take its string of back-to-back hits out on the road on the “Elevation Nights” tour, which also features a nightly message from Furtick at every stop along the way. The eight-city trek will find the revered collective continuing its history-making arena run, which has broken attendance records in sold-out venues across the country. For the upcoming stretch, Elevation Worship will visit key markets in Minnesota, Kentucky, Florida and more throughout October.
