Jeanice Lee talks to President and CEO Jessica Muñoz of Voices for Children. A CASA is a Court Appointed Special Advocate who works closely with the court system to train community volunteers to advocate for children in foster care. CASAs report on the child’s progress and needs so judges and other professionals can make the best decision for the child’s future. Muñoz shares about the training and ongoing support they provide their CASAs and she says there are kids currently waiting for a CASA. They particularly need men CASAs.
