Sarah Shaver speaks with Somerset County Library’s Director Cheryl Morgan and Assistant Director Beth Hornig. Morgan says the library federation encourages the community to “come grow with us” through their many programs and services, helping people in their largely rural community feel less isolated and have more meaningful lives. She explains the “digital divide” and how they’re addressing it and Hornig describes the innovative Tech Kiosks and hold lockers. Hornig talks about their many book clubs, including one for teens and adults with learning disabilities. Morgan tells a story that shows their garden grows not just vegetables but also community.
