Sarah Shaver speaks with Stephanie Collier, Executive Director of Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBSTS) of the Tri State, working to connect caring, consistent responsible adults with kids who need more support in their lives. BBBSTS covers eight counties in Ohio, West Virginia, and Kentucky and are continuing to expand. Collier explains the profound impact mentoring can have on a child or teen’s life and how “Bigs” and “Littles” are registered and matched. Over 70 “Littles” await their “Big” and Collier says it takes just an hour a week to make a huge difference in a child’s life.
