"Now Here" Red Rocks Worship

"Now here (now here)
Now here (now here)
I stand undefeated
When Jesus is near"

Oh, to witness the joy and triumph of Jesus’ resurrection. In that moment, sin and darkness ran for the hills as Jesus’ love stood victorious. Now, because of Him, we can be free from the shame of our wrongdoings through His forgiveness. Eternal life is attainable because of that one moment of victory. In “Now Here,” Red Rocks Worship gives us an anthem for the powerful faith that frees us from our sin and shame. Every wrong has been made right, and our shame is nowhere to be seen because of Jesus’ love.

“Now Here” begins with an energetic electric guitar riff, as the lyrics ask where the darkness was when hope was restored to the world. In the greatest moments of triumph throughout the world’s history, darkness and doubt are nowhere to be found. As the song’s rock-worship sound rings out, the song declares that now, we are undefeated with Jesus. No longer will the weight of our sin oppress our souls. We are free now and forever.

The power of death has been stripped away as Jesus stands victorious. Our shame is gone.

“Where was the darkness
When hope was restored
Where was despair
When my God split the shores”

“Now Here” was released in March 2021 as a part of Red Rocks Worship’s album, “Things of Heaven (Where We Come From)”. Tyler Roberts, the worship team ministry leader for Red Rocks Worship, foresees a big impact through their music. “I really believe a hundred percent that [a revival] is waiting to take place. I think a lot of that is happening through the worship music.”
