Roosevelt Stewart unveils his first solo single with “Redeemed.” The song — captured live in Atlanta, Georgia, in early 2026 — boasts of discovering God’s strength in our weakness. Stewart wrote the pop-centric, gospel-inflected original with Andrew Maldonado and Trinity Anderson.
“‘Redeemed’ is my testimony in song,” the newcomer explains. “I spent a long time thinking I wasn’t worth it, but God said I was. I’ve realized that His grace isn’t something I could ever earn; it’s a debt He already paid. This isn’t a flex; it’s total favor. I’m only boasting in my weakness, because looking back at where I’ve been, I know that only He could do it.”
On the second verse, he confidently declares:
"I’m walking in my purpose
I’m stepping out
Reaping in my inheritance
I’m a child of God
Yes, His favor manifests here
I can never take the credit
I’m only boasting in my weakness
’Cause only He could do it"
His debut radio offering is slated as the opening track on his upcoming live album, “Memory,” bowing Oct. 9.
Stewart will join Sarai Rivera as a special guest on this fall’s “Air1 Worship Now Tour,” scheduled to feature sets from Tauren Wells, Seph Schlueter and Gateway Worship.
He might be the newest name on the annual Air1 multi-artist bill, but listeners are likely more familiar with his voice than they realize. In addition to being an active member of both Transformation Worship and ONE HOUSE, Stewart has collaborated on recordings with SEU Worship and Maverick City Music. Raised in Fort Myers, Florida, the multi-instrumentalist fell in love with music playing drums at church. Today, he’s a multi-dimensional musician, singer, songwriter and producer with a pastoral heart known for selections like “What A God (with SEU Worship)” and “Never Bow (with Red Worship).”
“Redeemed” finds Stewart stepping out on his own for the first time, while remaining an in-demand collaborator.
