Rafael Sierra talks with Grant Malinowski, Fire Chief of the Yucaipa Fire Department. The Yucaipa Fire Department serves primarily the City of Yucaipa, Oak Glen and adjoining communities, providing life- safety services for residents and visitors to the city and community. Malinowski talks about their work including efforts in relation to the drought and this year’s rainfall. He also gives an update on the El Dorado Burn Scar and the potential for mud slides. Malinowski discusses working with schools and their safety outreach to the community. He also talks about their annual events, mostly meant for the entire family.
