Jeanice Lee talks to Tides of Change, Executive Director Valerie Bundy. Bundy says they provide help, safety, and support to those impacted by gender base violence and are the only emergency confidential shelter in the community. They house up to 6 households for 90 days including children and pets. People receive support from an advocate, work on making plans on what’s next and offered resources within the community. Bundy encourages anyone in an abusive relationship, connect with them so they can provide support on safe ways to escape and use technology. Services are free and offered in Spanish (TidesOfChangeNW.org) or 506.842.9486
