Becky Hansen talks with Veronica Rodriguez about Sarah's House in Pasadena, TX. While their focus is homeless women and their children, Sarah's House also accepts clients who have suffered domestic abuse. The initial goal is to provide the basic needs and as progress is made to bring stability through case management, employment and other services that assist their clients in rebuilding their future. In addition to the shelter, they operate a food pantry. Sarah's House hopes to raise funds to renovate a building this year in order to serve their clients more effectively.
