Sarah Shaver spoke with Laura Boss, Executive Director of the Pregnancy Care Center of Petoskey (MI), who shared the mission and goal of the Center and then talked about how it began with one woman and grew to the medical clinic and pregnancy care center they have today, including “earn while you learn” education, Mother’s Keepers, and Client Advocates. She shares how she became involved in issues of unplanned pregnancy and how important it is to simply be there for the mother and how them the love of Christ. Ms. Boss shared how we can listen to and “love on” women we might encounter who are experiencing an unplanned pregnancy. “Difficulties are invitations to beautiful new beginnings,” and PCC Petoskey strives to be there for the mother through the birth and the early years of the child’s life, caring for the family.
