Felipe Aguilar talks with Mark Meyers, Executive Officer of Peaceful Valley Donley Rescue (PVDR) about their on-going efforts to rescue injured, neglected and abused donkeys. Meyers tells how and why PVDR was started and decries the veterinary care that donkeys receive while at PVDR, and describes the donkey adoption process, and requirements. He explains how taxpayers and the U.S. government benefit from their donkey rescue efforts. Meyers explains the historical role that donkeys played in the building of America.
