Rafael Sierra talks with Candace Leslie, Executive Director of Northwest Children’s Outreach. Northwest Children’s Outreach (NCO) serves the greater Portland, OR area, providing kids and teens who are in need with basic items. NCO works as a collection and distribution center. They collect resources for these kids, then distributing the items to local agencies who then deliver the items to needy kids and their families. Leslie describes the types of items they collect and distribute. Items include, diapers, baby formula, books, shoes, clothing, hygiene products, toys and more.
