Peter Kaye speaks with Aaron Plumley of Northern Appalachian Teen Challenge about not only the landscape of addiction locally but the many lives being transformed through their faith-based recovery program. Plumley discusses the rise of addiction post COVID and boasts a 75-85 percent success rate among graduates of Teen Challenge. He walks us through the day-to-day routine of the one-year program and emphasizes the value of structure in recovery. Plumley discusses the relationships and community support that Northern Appalachian Teen Challenge has in Harrison County and beyond and gives a glimpse into the future goals and plans they have to further their mission locally.
