Jim Davis speaks with Ashley Fontenot, Chief Executive Officer of New Hope Children's Advocacy Center in Maryville, TN. Fontenot explains the history and the mission of the Center and the history and purpose of the Child Advocacy Center model. She talks about the multi-disciplinary team, forensic Interviews, medical exams and the role of the advocate during the process. Fontenot shares about their approach to therapy for children and the education they offer to children and adults in Blount County in order to better understand and identify abuse.
