Bob Dittman talks with the founder of the Midwest Food Bank, Arizona, Eric Sheldahl, about food insecurity in the Phoenix metro and what they are doing to help. As a food bank, Sheldahl says they are the major distributor to area food pantries that operate in the valley. They also help with disaster relief in other areas of the country as needed in cooperation with the Salvation Army. Sheldahl mentions they always have a need for volunteers and they welcome partnerships with other agencies to help get food out to people in need. (http://midwestfoodbank.org/locations/gilbert-az)
