Lexy Smith speaks with Eric Bruen the Mayor for The City of Ridgecrest. Ridgecrest got its start as a naval testing facility. Ridgecrest is surrounded by four mountain ranges and is on the border of three different counties. Bruen explains why the original name of Ridgecrest was “Secret City”. Bruen details how the earthquake in 2019 was a blessing to this small community. Bruen shares the new commerce coming to the area. Bruen explains its parade of 1000 flags.
