LOCAL Closer Look: Greenville Hope of Glory Ministries

Jack Church spoke with Cat Knell, Executive Director for Hope of Glory Ministries in Greenville, North Carolina. Knell talked about how the ministry operates both a food bank and thrift store. However, the food bank is set up more like a traditional grocery store and is open to individuals and families who complete a financial education program offered by Hope of Glory. The goal is by completing the financial program, individuals and families learn the necessary skills to avoid long term poverty and needing government or charity assistance.
