Jeanice Lee talks to CEO/Founder of Golden Heart Ranch in Agoura Hills, Rose van Wier Hein. Golden Heart Ranch is a 22-acre property that provides young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities the opportunity to build their social skills while building friendships. van Wier Hein shares why she created this non-profit and describes the numerous activities offered at the ranch including independent living skills, fitness, cooking classes and social events. van Wier Hein says they believe those with special needs should have an opportunity to reach their full potential while having a meaningful life.
