Monika Kelly speaks to Anna Kurnizki, Executive Director of Community Warehouse, a furniture bank in Portland. The Community Warehouse is able to accept donations of furniture and household items and within 48 hours, donate them to deserving families who are starting over. Case workers help families to connect with Community Warehouse. The organization serves families and individuals who have been recently homeless, are escaping domestic violence, are refugees or have been living in home without furniture.
