Kindra Ponzio talks with Diane Boland, owner of the Historic Village in Coarsegold CA. Boland shares some rich history about Coarsegold and the village that is on the way to Yosemite, serving the Central Valley. Boland states that they have some great events throughout the year, the most notorious being the Tarantula Awareness Festival in the fall. You can get up close to these and kids will actually help you hold them. You can learn about their purpose and contribution the the environment. There is a lot to do and Boland invites you to come, bring a lunch and just enjoy stepping back in time.
