Jim Davis talks with John Woodall, Executive Director of Camp 4 Heroes located in Fairmont, North Carolina. The camp serves disabled veterans and first responders by providing a place of solace, healing and camaraderie. Woodall explains the inspiration for the camp and the need for a place where veterans and first responders can gather and communicate with each other, sharing life experiences and struggles. He shares about the camp’s proximity to Fort Bragg/Fort Liberty and Camp Lejeune military communities and how attendees have come from as far away as Germany. Finally, Woodall talks about the camp’s growth to include more buildings and their desire to give back and serve the Fairmont community.
