Jeanice Lee talks to Catherine Demotica, Program and Volunteer Manager of Arizona Diaper Bank. They are the nation’s first Diaper Bank with a neat local story. They distribute diapers, adult incontinence supplies, period products and potty-training kits. Over 50% of U.S. families struggle to afford diapers for their children and are having to make sacrifices which may not be sanitary. 1-3 low-income women miss work because they can’t afford period product. Demotica says they are advocating for Pink Tax which is the removal of tax on menstrual products.
