LOCAL Closer Look: Cancer Fit (Thousand Oaks, CA)

Posted on Sunday, August 24, 2025 by Jeanice Lee

Jeanice Lee talks with Elle Bolton, Co-Founder of Cancer Fit. Through her and her husband’s own cancer journeys they discovered that there were no cancer survivorship groups when it came to exercise and wellness. Bolton says that they created this organization to support families/siblings from the moment of a cancer diagnosis up to 5 years post treatment. They offer free 1-1 exercise programs to 2–18yr old pediatric cancer patients, family/sibling support, and an MVP Sports Draft program which matches survivors with a high school or college sports team for a season. Pediatric cancer is the lowest funded cancer receiving less than 4% of federal funding. (CancerFitInc.com)
