New artist Noah Paul Harrison is making his worship debut with a colossal declaration via his original song, “Elohim,” which he co-wrote with Gable Price and Brian Johnson.
In Hebrew, “Elohim” is a plural noun that refers to God, meaning “supreme one” or “mighty one,” and the swelling refrain boasts of the power, authority and boundless love of the Father. The lyrics are rooted in Psalm 147:5: “How great is our Lord! His power is absolute! His understanding is beyond comprehension!”

“A few years ago, my good friend, Gable Price, and I had an impromptu writing session, and he shared his idea for this song. We worked on it for a couple of hours. I remember feeling the power behind the song in that moment, but I didn’t fully grasp the full gravity of it until a couple of years later when I led it on a Sunday at church,” shares Harrison, who started leading worship at 12 years old. “This song reminds me of the vastness of God and the power of His Kingdom.”
It was Harrison’s dad — a guitarist — who first inspired the newcomer to pick up the acoustic instrument and learn to play. The Michigan native eventually joined the worship team at his local church and began crafting his own songs. He attended ministry school in California before moving to New York City nearly two years ago. He and his wife, Carling — also an aspiring artist — are currently in the thick of helping to plant a new church in the heart of Manhattan.
In addition to penning songs for the global Church to sing, a deep dive into the budding singer-songwriter’s catalog, thus far, also reveals some poetic, nostalgic indie musings about life, love and coming of age that are worth a listen.
