North Carolina-based duo NONAH and GRAMMY® Award-winning songwriter Mitch Wong team up for “Center Of Attention.” NONAH — comprised of husband and wife Wes and Callie Strunk — penned the steady folk-pop cut with Wong for their 2025 debut album, “Jesus, I Love You.” They released a new version of the single, featuring Wong’s vocals, in August.
Borrowing language from the Lord’s Prayer, “Center Of Attention” places the spotlight squarely on the power, sacrifice and character of Christ across a driving melody, as together NONAH and Wong sing:
Jesus, You be the center of attention
And You be the center of it all
Here on earth as it is in heaven
It’s all about You
It’s all about You
“We are giving praise and honor and glory to Him and focusing on Him. And that was really the heart behind the song,” Callie explains. “I love how the chorus makes you feel when you sing it. Your full attention and focus is truly on Jesus.”
“I think it’s a beautiful way of bringing what’s happening in heaven down to earth,” Wong notes, “but in a joyful way.”
Married for 14 years, the Strunks started making music together in their apartment 13 years ago. The couple now shares two children and a growing catalog of original songs.
“We believe music is a means to an end — and for us, that end is Jesus. Our prayer is that you encounter Him in every song we release,” NONAH shares. “But more than a fleeting moment, we hope you fall deeply in love with the One who loved you first.”
Meanwhile, Wong has co-written some of the biggest worship anthems of the past few years, including CeCe Winans’ “Believe For It” and Elevation Rhythm’s “Washed,” among others.
