David Funk

Originally from North Georgia, David Funk joined the Bethel Music Collective in 2020, a significant step in his journey deeply rooted in worship. Inspired by his father, who played piano on worship teams at their local church, Funk's musical journey began early, picking up the guitar and eventually leading worship in high school.

From singing in front of thousands on Bethel Music's Victory Tour and Roadshow Tour to leading worship locally at Bethel Church, Funk's journey has been marked by divine moments of encounter. One such moment occurred when he first led "Touch of Heaven / Alabaster Heart (Live)" on a Sunday night at Bethel Church, experiencing a powerful encounter with God that left a lasting impact. With this song as his first single with Bethel Music, Funk embraces his true calling—ushering in high praise and keeping the focus solely on Jesus, inviting listeners to surrender afresh at His feet. His ultimate dream is to create environments where passionate worship leads every heart into the presence of God, fostering a deep and unwavering focus on Him.
