Jeanice Lee talks with Sandy Duchac, Executive Director of Veteran Sisters, serving women veterans (anywhere) by providing trauma-informed support for those impacted by Military Sexual Trauma (MST). Duchac discusses the programs the organization provides, including the Battle Buddies peer support program and BRAVE training (bystander intervention training). Duchac also shares the mission to restore dignity and foster safe, trusted relationships for survivors, along with growing outreach and education efforts. A fraternity sought their help to address harmful behavior, and their presentation led to meaningful change within the fraternity. (veteransisters.org).
