Monika Kelly spoke to Kyra Stewart, Executive Director of the Family Service Association of Redlands about their program called The Yucaipa Outreach Project. The Yucaipa office was opened to serve low income, homeless or at-risk homeless families. In 2020, they served 1,861 families, kept 123 families off the street with their emergency rental assistance program, and they rapidly re-housed 36 families (moved out of homelessness and into stable housing). The Yucaipa Outreach Project also serves breakfast to approximately 50 people per day, offer weekly showers. a food pantry and clothing donations.
