Jeanice Lee talks to Jessica Lopez, Executive Director of The PAW Mission. Lopez talks about how animal shelters/rescues are at a historical high post pandemic. The PAW Mission goal is to decreased shelter euthanasia through innovative adoption programs, humane education, and accessible and affordable vet services. Lopez says they rescue 90% of their animals who are considered high risk from shelters. Lopez shares about the various free programs they offer such as vaccine and spay/neuter clinics. Lopez says they work with schools to bring awareness to animal welfare. They need volunteers, fosters, donations, and adopters. Located at 13229 7th Pl in Yucaipa. (ThePawMission.org) 909.736.6034
