Rafael Sierra talks with Sarah Martinez, Community Services Recreation Superintendent for the City of Yucaipa, CA who oversees the Scherer Community Center. The Scherer Community Center serves Yucaipa, providing a variety of programs and services to area seniors. Martinez says their mission is to support senior needs and services. Their programs and services include a hot meals program, legal services, a senior transportation program for doctors’ appointments, vaccination clinics, a community activity room, pickle ball, a computer lab and much more.
