Jack Church spoke with Steve Zollos, CEO for Senior Services of Southeastern Virginia based in Norfolk, Virginia. Zollos talked about how their agency serves seniors in an area of over 2,000 sq. miles with multiple senior centers throughout the Hampton Roads region. The agency provides programs from meals and fitness to help in navigating Medicare. Zollos talked about the isolation and loneliness many seniors faced during Covid shutdowns and how it's been a challenge getting some to re enter life outside their homes. However the agency does offer many options sees reason for hope as seniors are once again becoming active.
