Kindra Ponzio talks with Jan Brannon, Administrator for Kids Growing Strong Community Garden. Brandon talks about a garden that is planted outside the library that kids are engaged in by planting, harvesting and eating the food that they grow. She says it's encouraging kids to eat more vegetables and even buying more vegetables when they go shopping with their parents. Brandon says that they have outgrown their space and are looking for a new space that is larger due to the overwhelming response from school aged kids. She says the kids take a lot of pride in what they're doing and encourage other friends to get involved as well.
