Lexy Smith speaks with Angie Nelson, Program Manager of The Shafter Youth Center for Community Action Partnership of Kern. The Shafter Youth Center helps children with ages 6-18 with afterschool programs, computer labs, activities and outings. Nelson outlines the outreach to Kern County and the free services they offer including an afterschool program, access to food panty services and more. Nelson also shared information on how to volunteer for the kids of the CAPK Shafter Youth Center serving Kern County.
