Peter Kaye speaks with Tyler Hargraves of Adirondack Young Professionals about the ongoing need the North Country has to attract and retain young professionals to enhance economic development. Hargraves speaks to his own move from downstate as well and the positive changes that he has seen due to ADKYP’s work toward creating a “cool community” that young professionals want to be part of and thrive in. He emphasizes networking and making contacts and contrasts the two. Hargraves also touches on the importance of community service and gives examples of ADKYP’s members and volunteers taking part in clean up after local events to assisting our senior population in various ways.
