Jeanice Lee talks to Tammy Oluvic, CEO of Saddles in Service. Oluvic shares why she created this non-profit after adopting a few horses and seeing the power of healing through her husband who retired from the U.S. Navy. Oluvic says through the years they have served over 800 “Heroes” vets, active military, and first responders and have adopted 35 horses giving them a new purpose. Oluvic says their goal is to assist Heroes in their process of working through their stressors alongside a rescue horse. Oluvic describes their 7 phase individually tailored program.
