Jack Church talks with Kari Viola-Brooke, Executive Director for Child Enrichment, Inc. in Augusta, Georgia. Child Enrichment was established in 1978 by a group of physicians, nurses, and social workers to help abused children overcome their experiences and rebuild their lives. The Court Appointed Special Advocacy (CASA) is a part of the organization with CASA volunteers working closely with social service agencies to ensure that the educational, medical, psychological, and emotional needs of these children in the court system are met. Brooked pointed out that a primary goal of CASA is that children will be placed in a safe and stable home as quickly as possible.
