Becky Hansen talks with Elaine Burnett, Program Director of Aaron’s Acres, providing services to those with disabilities in the Lancaster area and surrounding seven counties. Burnett describes the programs offered that vary by age groups, social skills, activity levels and interest. Staff to participant ratio is 1 staff to 1 – 3 participants depending on need, which offers a high level of care and is important to the families. (www.aaronsacres.org)
