Jeanice Lee talks to the CEO of ShelterCare, Michelle Hankes. ShelterCare provides a range of compassionate housing programs and behavioral health services to individuals and families who are or on the verge of homelessness. Hankes says everyone’s situations is different. People work alongside ShelterCare case managers to create a plan to help people feel inspired to achieve their best level of independence. Hankes says they create lasting relationships with people and collaborate with the community to help people reach successful solutions. Volunteers and support are encouraged.
