Jack Church spoke with Amy Berger, county extension agent and 4 H youth leader in Blount County. Berger talked about the various programs 4 H has to offer elementary age children thru high school and even into college. 4 H offers programs for kids in public, private and home school. 4 H is the largest youth organization of its kind with clubs all across the world. Berger commented on studies that show kids participating in 4 H tend to have higher grades, more likely to attend college and less likely to engage in risky behavior.
