Pastor Joesy is an ordained minister based in California. She attended Faculty of Theology, which is in partnership with Azusa Pacific University, where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Christian Leadership. She also has an associate of arts degree from V.E.T.I. (Victory Educational Training Institute).
From 1981 to 2003, Pastor Joesy served as a co-pastor with her husband until his sudden passing in 2003. She then served as the senior pastor until 2011. She has also served as a chaplain for both Alameda County Sheriff's Dept. and Placer County as well as a Sexual Assault Counselor and a team member on the S.A.R.T. (Sexual Assault Response Team).
She ministers to women in prison at the Folsom Women’s Facility and works with ministries to bring healing to the inner-city with a focus on drug addicts, alcoholics, and gang members.
In her current role, Pastor Joesy provides biblical counsel and crisis intervention in different situations for listeners of K-LOVE and Air1 Radio Networks. In her free time, she’s an avid baseball fan, international traveler, and frequent concert and theater attendee. She enjoys spending time with her children and seven grandchildren. She is also rarely without her canine companion, Prince.
