5 Songs that shift the atmosphere

KEEP THE WORSHIP FLOWING...

Of course, there's an endless array of songs that turn our eyes from ourselves and onto God. And, in so doing, shift the atmosphere & tenor of our lives. Discover some new favorites here!

SHIFTING THE ATMOSPHERE
Sometimes, shifting the atmosphere that surrounds us (think hearts, minds and places we work & live) is just about turning our focus away from the fear that robs our joy, the bad report that steals our peace, the tendency to let busyness and distractions rule our day/life or insert your situation here...

As we take our focus off of ourselves, we get to refocus on God and His promises, His plans for our life! And, then something wonderful happens - the tenor of our life becomes tuned to our Lord's. The following songs are a good place to start! Check them out:

"...be filled with the Holy Spirit, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs among yourselves, and making music to the Lord in your hearts." ~ Ephesians 5:18-19

For the first two songs, "Oh How I Need You" and "In The River" we've also included their inspirational song stories:

"But as for me, I will sing about your power.
Each morning I will sing with joy about your unfailing love.
For you have been my refuge,
a place of safety when I am in distress."  ~Psalm 59:16

The next song "Death Was Arrested" progresses from a slower pace to outright energetic praise and proclamation. It's a nice transition to the two songs following it: "Glorious Day" & "Ain't No Grave" which continue the energetic worship. Each of them also proclaims God's power over the grave.

I sing for joy in the shadow of your                                            wings.~ Psalm 63:7

“Thankful for Air1 playing songs that speak words of truth and life. My girls, twenty-five and twenty-two, grew up listening to Air1 and singing along. One of my daughters is a prodigal but I know God’s Word and truth is planted in her heart. I am praying for her to return to her first love. Thank you Air1 for playing songs to exhort, encourage and draw us closer to Jesus. God Bless you.”
Rebecca | CA

"My heart’s prayer is to “sing praise to my God as long as I live” (Psalm 104:33). Many days I don’t have the strength to lift my voice, yet my heart is able to sing and rejoice in my Savior through the music of Air1. Thank you for encouraging my heart!"      Chari | WI

"I will be filled with joy because of you. I will sing praises to your name, O Most High."                                                             ~ Psalm 9:2
