The Australian band UNITED is making waves with their latest song, “Oceans (Where Feet May Fail).” Following the success of Zion, the group released Oceans EP (September 10, 2013) - a short album containing five different versions of the song - including the original version, a radio version, and a live version recorded during a show in Denver.

Inspired by the Biblical story of Peter walking on water, “Oceans (Where Feet May Fail)” is about stepping out in faith, and learning to trust. “We went and found a waterfall in Sydney by the studio, and the lyrics just came,” band member Joel Houston explains about writing the tune. “It's just a song about stepping into the unknown, and it's a song about faith, and raw trust, and I love that."

Originally know as Hillsong UNITED, the band first came together in Sydney, Australia, in the youth ministry at Hillsong Church. With worship pastors Joel Houston, Jad Gillies, JD Crocker, and Matt Crocker leading the band, UNITED has come a long way since releasing their first album back in 1999. The band has performed live shows worldwide in over 42 nations, drawing quite the crowds, and becoming the first Christians artists to sell out the Los Angeles’ Staples Center, and many other venues across the United States. Following the success of their tour in 2013, UNITED released Zion Acoustic (October 29, 2013)- a live recorded album exclusively on iTunes.

"We remain amazed at the response from our latest tour in the U.S. and how many came out to worship our Lord and Savior with us," says Joel Houston. "We were excited to have performed at some pretty famous venues -- but our goal remained the same -- that He is made famous, and that everything we do brings people closer to God. Of course, we also had some fun along the way.”

Whether they’re playing live shows, or working on new music, the band strives to share of love of God in everything that they do."Our prayer is that people everywhere would catch this desire and run with it in the same way!” Joel adds. “Knowing God is with them, God is in control, and He will have His way."
