Harry Burnett Reese was the original creator of the beloved peanut butter cup. The early years of the Depression were a financial struggle for Reese since the price of sugar was extremely high he risked losing his company but it was his friend (and boss) Milton S. Hershey who helped him by supplying all of Reese's chocolate coating. Expecting nothing in return-just wanting to see his friend be a success. The Reese family eventually sold the company back to Hershey and to this day Reese's are the most sold Hershey treat. Friendship has never been sweeter (I know, I know- corny-but true:)
