Bomb Cyclone.

That's what the c-c-c-cold weather system off the coast of Florida is being called.

It's a winter hurricane, but for some reason it's being called a "bomb cyclone."

Remember the Polar Vortex? "Polar Vortex" actually gave you clues about what it was: it was cold and it was very, very windy. 

But, what does "bomb cyclone" even mean?

Do you feel the name "bomb cyclone" is a little inappropriate for life in today's world or is it just another kooky weather term for kooky weather?
