A Country Star Finds Hope

When you find a song that hits you in the gut, you want to hear it over and over. For Country Music Star, Blake Shelton, he wanted to not just hear Dave Barnes' "God Gave Me You," but record his own version. As Shelton writes:

"'God Gave Me You' is an important song for me for this record...It's no secret, Miranda (his wife) & I have had our ups and downs over the years and this was definitely at a low point at our relationship. But I heard that song come on the radio -- for whatever reason I was flipping through stations & landed on a contemporary Christian station, & that song came on & I almost had to pull the truck over. It was one of those moments for me where I felt like I was hearing that song at that moment for a reason."

Here is a behind the scenes video of Blake Shelton in the studio:

Yeah that's what I was going to say.
I guarantee you that he has THOUSANDS of fans and if he possibly became a christian artist than can't you just IMAGINE the possibility of of the number of people that would turn to God?!
OMG that would be incredible! Laughing
