Hi Adrian, it's NEITHER!

We take new music we're thinking of adding to the Air 1 playlist and ask listeners which songs they like and which ones they don't.

That way we're playing more of what YOU (and other Air 1 listeners) like.

We rely a lot on Air 1 Mixology, where you can rate Air 1 music. If you haven't joined the "mixology team" yet, check it out at www.air1.com, on the music page.

I really like the new one from the wrecking, It's great!!!
but the one from Britt nicole just seem like she is making every thing out to be perfect and there is nothing you do wrong once you become a christian, like you hear everything god has to tell you, but it doesn't always work that way. It is still a very nice song thoughSmile

Who decides what songs the mixology team rates?
Do the artists tell you which songs you can play? I have wondered that for a long time and since you were talking about that I just thought I'd ask. Thanks!

Hey Suzanne,

Thanks for asking about Air 1's Mixology. It's super important for us to know what you (and other listeners) REALLY want to hear. So when we get songs that fit Air 1 (alternative christian music) from the record companies, we pick a few for the playlist, and ask you what you think! If a song "tests" well, we keep it, but if listeners say they don't like it, we take it out of the list.

We just want to play more of what you like on Air 1!

I love The Wrecking's new song, "About To Fall"! It describes exactly how a lot of people feel, and I think it is amazing that they decided to write an encouraging song that lets me know that I'm not the only one who feels like that.

I would love to hear more of The Wrecking on Air1! Their lyrics are beautiful and honest, and it is refreshing to hear a band on christian radio with such musical creativity and skill.

We had The Wrecking play at our youth event back on 7/18 and they were amazing, not only are they very professional but they are an amazing band to watch live, I cant wait to see them at soulfest this year, so Thank You Air1 for playing their new song "about to fall" and please continue to play it.

Thank you for playing The Wrecking! They are my favorite band. So encouraging and real! I have met the guys before and you can truly see their love of Christ and people, it spills over in beautiful ways. I thank God for the hard work they do to continue blessing us with great music.
