Mike Donehey, the lead singer of Tenth Avenue North, and his wife Kelly, are expecting a baby ... girl! They just found out they're having a girl, and Mike is, well, nervous! He's excited, too, but in his latest blog he went completely honest and shared:
"... my wife is pregnant. We're going to have a baby girl, and I have never been more profoundly aware of the fact that I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing. I really don't. I mean, I'm sure I put a good front, and seem very composed at times, but deep down, I really am absolutely clueless. To quote Foreman, I'm an 'amateur lover, with amateur friends. We don't know what we're doing, let's do it again.' I have no idea how to communicate with females in general, let alone raise one of my own."
That made me laugh! My hubby and I are expecting baby #2 and honestly, he's terrified that the baby we're having might be a girl! I'm like "what's the big deal?" We're not that hard to deal with, right?!
OK, don't answer that if you're a guy.
But seriously, I'm sure my hubby, Mike and you (if you're a daddy-to-be) will do a great job at being a Dad, as long as you put God first. Mike shares some more honest thoughts about that in his blog. Enjoy!
