Press Play on Fox and NBC!

Press Play is one of the coolest bands you'll hear on Air 1. Their debut single "Life is Beautiful" is one of the top ten Air 1 Hits.

In case you're not familiar with Press Play, the band is made up of like 100 people (ok, it's more like 10 people who are a part of the Press Play reality web series) but that's still a big group! And they're the worship band at their huge church, Angelus Temple, in Los Angeles, CA.

They have their own reality show-type web series you can check out

And you can also catch Press Play performing live on Fox Television's show The Strategy Room TOMORROW, May 20th, between 4:40-5:00pm EST.

Also watch for them on NBC's The Today Show June 8th. Press Play will perform and comedian Sinbad will talk about the Dream Center (and how all 3 are connected!)

Busy band, huh?!

More new music today ... Mat Kearney's new album is out!

Yeah, Mat Kearney is a busy guy. He's touring with amazing British band Keane (one of my personal faves) and releasing his new album "City of Black and White" today. Rhapsody is streaming the whole album free, so you could hear it before you buy it. And if you can't get enough of Mat, we'll be playing more of his new song "Closer to Love" on Air 1.

Lanae Hale's debut album is out today!

You may have heard Lanae Hale's debut single, "Back and Forth" on Air 1. If you like it, you can get her debut album for free between today, May 19th and May 23rd.  It's a cool deal they worked out with local Christian bookstores, where you buy any CD at a participating store or website, and you get Lanae's new album FREE. Click on Lanae's website for more details.

Doesn't she kinda look like actress Kirsten Dunst in that picture?

A day in the life of a Skillet tour

Skillet's down to their last few shows on the Comatose Tour, along with tour buddies Disciple and Decyfer Down. Whether or not you got to see the tour, they've condensed a "Day in the life of a Skillet show" down to this 4 minute video set to Skillet's "Those Nights".  You know what? The production/sound/light guys look like they're doing all the work and the bands just show up and play! It's the Rockstar life, baby!

Tenth Avenue North dad-to-be's honesty

Mike Donehey, the lead singer of Tenth Avenue North, and his wife Kelly, are expecting a baby ... girl! They just found out they're having a girl, and Mike is, well, nervous! He's excited, too, but in his latest blog he went completely honest and shared:

"... my wife is pregnant.  We're going to have a baby girl, and I have never been more profoundly aware of the fact that I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing. I really don't.  I mean, I'm sure I put a good front, and seem very composed at times, but deep down, I really am absolutely clueless.  To quote Foreman, I'm an 'amateur lover, with amateur friends.  We don't know what we're doing, let's do it again.' I have no idea how to communicate with females in general, let alone raise one of my own."

That made me laugh! My hubby and I are expecting baby #2 and honestly, he's terrified that the baby we're having might be a girl! I'm like "what's the big deal?" We're not that hard to deal with, right?!

OK, don't answer that if you're a guy.

But seriously, I'm sure my hubby, Mike and you (if you're a daddy-to-be) will do a great job at being a Dad, as long as you put God first. Mike shares some more honest thoughts about that in his blog. Enjoy!
