Jars of Clay tour and unregistered bathrooms

Jars of Clay is headlining the Creation Festival Tour this fall! As one Air 1 listener asked me, is it Creation East or West? It's neither! Creation Festival: The Tour is the portable version of the festival--if you can't make it to the actual festival on either coast, they take the show on the road to a city near you. Kinda cool!

But what about the unregistered bathrooms I mentioned in the blog title? Well, in case you're not following the Jars guys on Twitter, you missed Charlie Lowell's realization of all the unregistered bathrooms he had visited when he came upon a REGISTERED one. :) Very funny, Charlie.

Decyfer Down update

A few weeks ago we shared urgent prayer requests from the Decyfer Down guys. Well, it's praise report and update time!  Decyfer Down guitarist Chris said his wife Meghan is doing great after a scary stay at the hospital shortly after she had their first baby. She spent three weeks in quarantine away from her hubby and newborn son, but is now out of the hospital, doing fine. Praise God!

The other prayer update is from Josh, Decyfer Down's drummer. He shared that his wife Victoria was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma cancer. The tumor is inoperable, but the cancer was caught early, it has not spread and they have high hopes for her treatment and recovery.

However, the guys are still asking for our prayers for Josh and Victoria. She has a long road ahead of her and their health insurance denied coverage. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers. And if you can, visit their website, www.victoriasvictory.org, to get the latest updates on her condition and find out how you can help. Thanks!

Switchfoot UNBELIEVABLE video!

This is the coolest video I've seen in a while! It's Jon and Tim from Switchfoot flying with the Blue Angels. When I read that, I was like, blue angels, whatever. Then I started watching the video. Those are like the same planes you saw in "Top Gun" and the guys are flying in them ... sort of passing out ... and then Tim's fine again. :) You almost get motion sickness from watching them!

What do TFK, Jaymes Reunion and Jeremy Camp have in common ... with all these other artists?

So what do they have in common? Well, for starters, you can hear their music on Air 1. And they all have to go to the bathroom if they drink too much water, just like the rest of us. But they also all tweet! And Twitter is one of the coolest ways to get insider info on your favorite artists. Have you tried it?

I mean, how else would you find out that Jeremy Camp is on his way with his wife and daughters to Europe and is asking for prayer for a safe trip?

Or that the Jaymes Reunion guys are working on a new song called "War" and they want your input on how it should sound?

And come on, where else can you get a sneak peek at the new cover of Thousand Foot Krutch's upcoming album "Welcome to the Masquerade" (which is awesome, by the way?)

Follow your favorite Air 1 artists on Twitter and you can be one of the first to know the good stuff!

Here are a few others you might want to follow ... just cuz they're on the Air 1 Hits list this week. :)

FM Static

Hawk Nelson

Matthew West

Red

The Wrecking

The Classic Crime

And don't forget to Follow Air 1 for all the latest on us! :)
